Martin founded the firm Carrigan & Co in 2006 and comes with impressive qualifications and experience. Martin became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland in 2001 and sub sequentially completed a masters in Accountancy in DCU and B.Comm., in UCD.
Martin commenced his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Dublin where he spent 3 1/2 years gaining valuable experience in the areas of company audit and taxation, rising rapidly to the position of assistant manager. Most recently he spent 3 years as senior manager in the audit and business advisory services department of a large south-east based practice.
Martin is a well-known sportsman, He captained his local club Clara on numerous occasions and has won honors at every grade. He was a member of the UCD hurling team that reached the Fitzgibbon cup final in 1995 and was involved with the Kilkenny U21 panel the same year.
